The market for zirconia dental materials is further expanded

Zirconia ceramics have performance advantages over other dental materials.

The materials for dental restoration mainly include: resin, common alloy (nickel chromium, etc.), precious metal alloy (gold platinum, etc.) and ceramics (zirconia and alumina, etc.).

From the five dimensions of “Aesthetic, Biological performance, stability, mechanical properties and cost”, zirconia ceramic materials have many advantages over other materials.

Zirconia materials are widely used in dental restorations. At present, the main methods of dental restoration can be divided into the following three categories according to the degree of tooth damage:
(1) Inlay repair, suitable for partial damage of the teeth, filled with inlays to protect and repair the teeth. Commonly used inlay repair materials are mainly resin, metal and ceramics;
(2) Crown repair, suitable for teeth defects, or lesions, but the roots are still in the situation. Commonly used crown materials are alloys, porcelain and all-ceramic;
(3) Dental restoration, suitable for missing teeth, or extracted teeth.
